Regional Audio Visual Engineer
Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: South England (Reading Region)

We’re seeking a Regional Audio Visual Engineer to provide technical support, installations, and customer training across venues in the South of England. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the go-to expert for AV equipment—ensuring smooth operations, solving problems quickly, and supporting clients in delivering high-quality experiences.
This is a dynamic position for someone with strong AV knowledge who enjoys building relationships, being proactive in the field, and making a visible impact.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first field response for AV issues in your region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with venue staff.
Manage and maintain AV kit held within your vehicle.
Conduct site surveys for replacement or upgrade equipment.
Lead installations within your region.
Travel to assist with equipment prep and rack builds when required.
Provide on-site training to staff on AV systems and services.
Ensure smooth operation of AV services at events.
Schedule and carry out maintenance tasks for AV equipment.
Work with creative teams to test and deliver content in correct formats.
Document issues and feedback to support continuous improvement.
Assist with product rollouts, feature launches, and change management.
Support internal teams when not on site.
Required Experience
Proven AV experience (video & projection highly desirable).
Experience in full project delivery: system setup, training, troubleshooting.
Ability to document procedures and train others.
Bonus: basic video editing, presentation creation, or Photoshop skills.
