Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven AV Sales Manager to lead business development and drive sales growth for professional audio-visual integration solutions across Germany.
This senior-level position is responsible for expanding market presence, cultivating strategic customer relationships, and delivering innovative AV solutions across multiple sectors, including corporate, education, government, and hospitality.
The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with deep knowledge of AV technology and an existing network within the German market.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy focused on revenue growth, market penetration, and client retention.
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to maintain competitive positioning.
Business Development & Relationship Management
Identify, target, and secure high-value opportunities with AV consultants, system integrators, enterprise clients, and senior stakeholders.
Build and manage a robust pipeline through lead generation, referrals, and strategic outreach.
Act as the primary commercial point of contact throughout the sales cycle.
Client Solutions & Account Management
Oversee a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring delivery of tailored AV solutions.
Provide strategic consultation to clients, aligning technical requirements with appropriate technology offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure seamless execution from scope definition to project delivery.
Promote a customer-first mindset across all touchpoints.
Market Representation & Brand Building
Represent the business at industry events, trade shows (e.g., ISE, InfoComm), and networking forums.
Strengthen visibility and reputation in the German AV market for quality, reliability, and innovation.
Sales Execution & Performance
Manage the full sales cycle: qualification, needs assessment, proposals, negotiation, and closure.
Consistently meet or exceed sales KPIs, revenue targets, and account growth objectives.
Skills & Experience
Deep knowledge of the German AV market, with established relationships across integrators, consultants, and enterprise clients.
Proven experience in solution selling for complex AV systems and services.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, able to influence at senior levels.
Comfortable working independently in a remote/field-based role with regular travel.
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
Familiarity with AV control systems, UC platforms, video conferencing, digital signage, and collaboration tools.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Desirable:
Existing client network and contacts in Germany.
Knowledge of local regulations and standards.
Experience with multinational clients.
