AV Project Manager
Location: UK (Hybrid with travel as required)
Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role
We are seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to lead the delivery of best-in-class Audio Visual systems across a nationwide client base.
This role will primarily focus on new build and major refurbishment projects, requiring both strong technical knowledge and proven experience managing complex AV projects from inception to completion. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of assigned projects following handover from the Commercial team.
Define clear project timelines and milestones in collaboration with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Coordinate with Engineering Management to secure appropriate labour resources.
Work with Procurement teams to ensure timely purchase and delivery of materials.
Lead site kick-off meetings and conduct regular progress inspections.
Maintain responsibility for quality, handover, training, and O&M documentation.
Motivate and support installation teams, resolving challenges on-site.
Track budgets, variations, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Report project progress internally and maintain strong client relationships.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the AV industry.
Strong technical understanding of AV systems including:
Digital Video, Projection Systems, Control Systems, DSPs, Audio Systems, Large Format Displays, DMX Lighting, and BMS integration.
Familiarity with AV industry standards (AVIXA / InfoComm) and certifications (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I) desirable.
Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Visio) beneficial.
Strong communication and presentation skills, able to simplify technical details for non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated success in managing budgets, timelines, and project challenges.
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Full UK driving licence required.
